My philosophy

Helping women regain their balance through a healthy diet. Diet comes first, always.

I’ve been through the same thing as you. It took me a long time to realise why my energy levels weren’t at their best, even at the age of 20, when I was supposed to be in peak physical condition and full of energy. I thought that period pain and chronic fatigue were normal and simply part of being a woman. I thought that sleeping 10 hours a night and still feeling exhausted in the morning was down to my laziness.
But at some point, I’d had enough and set out to find answers.
I discovered that the nutritional needs and requirements of women’s bodies to function properly at every stage of their lives have been underestimated. Whether during adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, the postpartum period or the menopause. Not only the general public, but also official nutritional recommendations generally underestimate these specific needs.

The Restored Approach

Modern foods that are high in sugar and low in nutrients, endocrine disruptors, stress and leaky gut all have a negative impact on our cycle and our general health.
The Restored approach focuses on identifying the root cause of symptoms, rather than simply trying to suppress them. It then relies on rebalancing and harmonising the body through a nourishing diet, real nutrients and wholesome foods that our bodies need to function properly. Every woman is unique and experiences her own journey with her cycle, pain, stress and fatigue. Your needs are unique, just as your diet should be, fully tailored to your specific health concerns.

My name is Sarah, I’m a qualified nutritionist, and I’ve been through the same thing as you. It took me a long time to understand why my energy levels weren’t at their best, even in my twenties, when I was supposed to be at the peak of my fitness and energy. I thought that period pain and cognitive fog were normal and simply part of being a woman. I thought that sleeping 10 hours a night and still feeling exhausted in the morning was down to me being lazy.

Women have been told to steer clear of fats without distinction (spoiler: omega-3s are fats, and yes, they’re very healthy, and most women don’t get enough of them). They’ve been told to limit their calorie intake, which has had a disastrous impact on their metabolism and hormonal health. I’m here to guide you towards a diet tailored to your needs and help you overcome whatever is holding you back.

Endometriosis

When I first did my consultation with Sarah on August I would have horrible pain during my periods, lots of blood clogs.
